A Public Policy Polling survey, conducted in America and released on Tuesday, has revealed that nearly one in four Americans suspect that President Barack Obama may be the antichrist. 37% of the American population believed that global warming was a hoax, as per the survey. In accordance with this survey, more than 50% of the American voters suspect that clandestine global elites are attempting to install a New World Order that will govern the globe tyrannically. The survey questioned a sample of American voters about conspiracy theories, varying from the ‘faked US moon landing’ to ‘Bigfoot’. Another conspiracy theory, presented to the voters by the surveyors, involved ‘shape-shifting alien reptilian persons controlling our globe by converting to the human form.’
13% of the questioned voters remarked ‘not sure’ regarding Barack Obama being the antichrist, suggesting that they were amenable to the probability that he might be the antichrist. 12% of the American voters were not sure about the global warming conspiracy theory. The findings are certain to make the US educators ponder about the qualities of their educational system, which enables such beliefs to prevail in the minds of ordinary people.
Some Americans, with conservative social and political agenda, have controversially referred to US President Barack Obama as a Marxist/Communist/Socialist/pro-Muslim/anti-Jewish, who is set to refurbish the American constitution and make it leftist, with his gun control measures, Wall Street regulation, Obamacare, spending largesse and other steps. Those, who subscribe to the conspiracy theory that Barack Obama is a Muslim born in Kenya and not in Hawaii, have also been in the limelight like American tycoon Donald Trump.
The Public Policy Polling survey was also implemented to comprehend whether the American voters’ political convictions influence their readiness to hug conspiracy theories. The survey discovered that political partisanship, which has stalemated several US Congressional legislative processes, has also influenced common people’s beliefs regarding conspiracy theories. 20% of the Republican voters deemed that Barack Obama was the antichrist while 6% of the Democrats agreed with the conspiracy theory of Barack Obama being the antichrist, heralding the end of times.
58% of the Republican voters concurred with the conspiracy theory of global warming being a hoax while 77% of the Democratic voters disagreed with the ‘global warming hoax’ conspiracy theory. Only 7% of the American population deemed that NASA faked the moon landings, as per the survey.
